The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has further expanded its political reach as it hosted former candidates of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ondo State at the group’s Secretariat in Akure.
The former SDP candidates, under the banner of the APC Young Leaders Network, came to officially identify with AMG and to declare their commitment to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the leaders expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and assured that they were ready to mobilise their structures, grassroots supporters, and resources to secure an electoral victory for the President in the coming polls.
Welcoming the delegation, the Director General of AMG, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, described their decision as timely and strategic.
“Your resolve to join the winning team is a testimony to the quality of leadership President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is offering Nigeria. At AMG, we are building a strong and united front that will not only secure re-election for Mr. President but also sustain good governance and development for our people. We count on your energy, ideas, and networks to strengthen the work ahead.” Asagunla said.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for robust discussions on youth mobilisation, grassroots engagement, and strengthening collaboration among progressive forces in Ondo State.
