APPRECIATION
Nigeria Union of Health workers (NUAHP) Ondo State, with delight expresses sincere appreciation to God Almighty for the safe and prompt rescue of our member, Pastor (MLS) Akesinro Ayodeji who was rescued earlier today, 30th of August, 2025 after being abducted by unknown gun men.
We wish to cheerfully applaud the efforts of the state government under the leadership of His Excellence, Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for taking charge as the chief security officer of the state, the Inspector General of police, the Ondo State Commissioner of Police and all members of the force, the local hunters and vigilante group for the outstanding gallantry displayed at ensuring the rescue of our colleague.
We specially appreciate the members of the fourth estate of realm, our dependable ally for the show of comradeship and support, as usual. Your multifaceted role in National security cannot be overemphasized.
Additionally, we acknowledge and commend the efforts of the management of Federal Medical Centre,Owo for the show of concern and commitment towards the rescue of our member.
We urge government across board to intensify efforts towards improving on the security architecture of the states in a bid to forestall future occurrences and better secure lives and properties of all citizens of the country. Kidnappings and insecurity within Owo and environs have become incessant and drastic measures must be put in place to safeguard the citizens. Almost everyone is a target.
Finally, we thank all our members, all health workers in Nigeria, particularly, Ondo State, members of RCCG and all well-meaning citizens for the prayers, supports and solidarity which guaranteed the rescue of our brother, friend and colleague.
May God Almighty continue to protect us all.
