HON. AJOBIEWE GETS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

The city of Akure came alive as Democrat News Magazine celebrated its 7th Anniversary in grand style, with an impressive gathering of political icons, respected traditional rulers, and distinguished personalities from across Ondo State. The colorful event showcased excellence, unity, and recognition of service to humanity.
Among the notable dignitaries in attendance were:
- Prince Olusegun Omojuwa, JP, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo State.
- His Excellency Alhaji Oluboyo, former Deputy Governor of Ondo State.

The event was marked by the presentation of prestigious awards to these illustrious individuals, recognizing their service, commitment, and contributions to the growth of Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
One of the major highlights of the evening was the recognition of Hon. David Ajobiewe Adekunle, Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He was honored with The Icon of Excellence in Political Service in Oka Akoko Award for his impactful political service and developmental strides in Oka Akoko.
The award was presented to Hon. Ajobiewe by Barrister Kayode Taiwo, Chairman of Akure East LCDA, who praised Ajobiewe for his commitment to service and the positive testimonies of development linked to his name. He encouraged him to continue on the path of selfless leadership.
In his remarks during a press interview, Hon. Ajobiewe expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him. He dedicated the award to the “wonderful people of Oka Akoko” who, according to him, inspire his service and political journey.
He further commended his boss, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whom he described as a performing and peace-loving leader. Hon. Ajobiewe lauded the Governor’s ongoing projects and infrastructural achievements across Ondo State, noting that the Governor is steadily leading the state toward “a promising land of prosperity and development.”
The 7th Anniversary of Democrat News Magazine not only celebrated media excellence but also stood as a symbol of appreciation for leaders and institutions driving growth, progress, and unity in Ondo State.
