NO FIGHT TO SETTLE: AIYEDATIWA AND TUNJI-OJO LOYALISTS NOT AT WAR

The story making the rounds that APC elders are moving to reconcile Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and supporters of Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has been dismissed as nothing but fiction.

For those who follow Ondo politics closely, the supposed “clash” simply does not exist. The Governor and the Minister enjoy a cordial relationship built on respect and a shared commitment to service. There is no feud to settle, and certainly no quarrel strong enough to warrant elder mediation.

It is the height of idleness for anyone to imagine that a Governor would have time for petty fights with a Minister when both men are busy tackling the serious business of governance. “The Governor has a state to run, the Minister has a national assignment. Neither has room for unnecessary drama,” a party leader remarked.

What is really happening, is that some political actors are feeding the media with tales of division just to stay relevant. But the facts on the ground tell a different story: Ondo State remains stable, the government is focused, and leaders are working together, not against each other.

At the end of the day, the public deserves honesty. There is no war, no tension, and no need for reconciliation. What exists is collaboration and anyone suggesting otherwise is simply chasing shadows.
