…..Hon. Ajobiewe bags “Compassionate Grassroots Leader Award”

It was a colorful and memorable gathering in Akure, Ondo State capital, as eminent personalities, political leaders, academicians, and distinguished professionals converged for the official launching of The Hope Magazine.
The event, which attracted a large audience, also served as a platform to honor men and women who have distinguished themselves in leadership, service, and excellence.
One of the major highlights of the day was the conferment of the Compassionate Grassroots Leader Award on Hon. Ajobiewe David again, Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State. The award, presented by The Hope Magazine’s Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Kayode Fasua, was in recognition of Hon. Ajobiewe’s goodwill, generosity, and commitment to empowering the masses and uplifting his constituency.
Mr. Fasua, in his remarks, applauded Ajobiewe for his consistent contributions to grassroots development and urged him to continue in his noble path of service.
The Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, was also honoured with the prestigious title of Man of the Year 2025, a testament to his exemplary leadership and developmental strides across the state.
Similarly, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Oladeji Olamide Adesanmi (Landmark), was decorated with the Best Performing Speaker Award, in recognition of his legislative excellence, leadership acumen, and remarkable achievements since assuming office.
Other notable awardees and dignitaries present at the grand event included:
- Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
- Hon. Amidu Takuro, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
- Senator Remi Okunrinboye.
- Prof. Adenice Temidayo Oladeji, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Akure.
- Prof. Temi Emmanuel Ologunorisa, Vice Chancellor, Ondo State University of Science and Technology.
- Hon. Segun Henry Omoyofunmi, Commissioner for Youth and Sports.
- Barr. (Dr.) Sylvester Olumuyiwa Adu (Adu Cubana).
The event was graced by many more dignitaries who collectively described the day as a celebration of excellence, dedication, and service to humanity.
