Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde Orders Total Renovation of Ondo Township Stadium
The Ondo Township Stadium is set for a massive facelift as the Honourable Member representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde, visited the facility and directed an immediate and comprehensive renovation.
During the inspection, Hon. Dr. Makinde emphasized the importance of reviving the stadium to meet modern standards, promote sporting excellence, and provide a safe and comfortable environment for athletes and spectators.
The scope of work to be executed includes:
Renovation of the pavilion
Installation of 1,000-capacity seats
Full painting of the pavilion
Complete revamp of the pitch
Installation of 20 solar-powered lights to brighten the facility
Clearing of surrounding bushes to enhance visibility and safety
This bold initiative by Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde reaffirms his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, sports development, and infrastructural renewal within Ondo Kingdom. The project, once completed, will reposition Ondo Township Stadium as a hub for sporting and social activities.
