Late Owo Chief Imam, Aladesawe lived with integrity —Ondo Senator, Ipinsagba mourns

SENATOR JIDE IPINSAGBA MOURNS OVER THE DEATH OF OWO GRAND CHIEF IMAM, SHEIKH AHMAD ALADESAWE

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Jide Ipinsagba has commiserated with the Muslim Community and entire Owo Kingdom over the death of a prominent Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Sheikh Ahmad Aladesawe.

Senator Ipinsagba in a condolence message to the family, Owo and Ondo State Muslim Community described the late Grand Imam as a man of integrity and honour who used religion to preach harmony.

He recalled his encounter with the late Imam as remarkable and thought provoking.

The lawmaker used the medium to condole with the entire Muslim Communities in Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States noting that his legacy will forever remain.

Until his death, Sheikh Aladesawe was the Grand Chief Imam of Owo, Chairman, League of Alfas in Ondo State and General Secretary, League of Imams and Alfas Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States.

His remains has been buried according to Islamic rite in Owo.
