Re: “ONDO PENSIONERS LAMENT STRESSFUL VERIFICATION, SEEK ALTERNATIVE PROCESS”
The Leadership of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Ondo State Chapter, hereby disclaims the above-captioned report and condemns spreading of false and misleading information.
We state categorically that: The individuals pictured or referenced in the report do not represent pensioners from Ondo State.
The verification exercise currently going on in the state for 2016 to date pensioners is so far peaceful and stress-free.
Contrary to the claims made, the Ondo State Government supported participants by providing a transport allowance of ₦5,000 to each verified pensioner.
We urge the general public to disregard the misleading publication and treat it as false and unfounded.
