On Friday September 19 2025, Hon. Mrs. Olufunke Aruna kicked off her birthday celebration with an intimate and private evening soiree at the BON hotels with friends, family, close associates, and some of her political leaders.
It was indeed a relaxed atmosphere of glamour, glitz, fun, good food and good music.
Many of her friends, family and political leaders came to honour the woman described by many as “beautiful inside and outside”. loving and kind-hearted. A dedicated and loyal member of the APC in ondo state.
Amongst those in attendance were; Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena), Executive Director, Corporate Services, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, Hon. Akinlayo Kolawole (Omoakin), Member, House of Representatives, Ilumoba/Ilejemeje Federal Constituency, Hon. Femi Adekanmbi, Managing Director/CEO, Benin-Owena River Basin Authority, Hon. Sunday Olajide, Commissioner for Urban and Regional Development, Dr. Victor Ategbole, Chairman, Ondo State Hospital Management Board, Hon. Omowumi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (Amaechi), former Special Adviser on Community and Rural Development, Hon. Olugbenga Omole, former Special Adviser on Transport, Hon. Muyiwa Ogunyemi (Eyiyato), Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Integration, Hon. Taofeek ATA, Special Assistant on Political Affairs, Hon. Allen Sowore, Senior Special Assistant and many more.
On Sunday 21st September, she was again joined by her well wishers at the chapel of Grace church, Government House Alagbaka for Thanksgiving.
She was well honored by the Governor of Ondo state and his wife, SSG, the Attorney General of ondo state, many party leaders, the progressive Lucky women of owo, an organization that she founded and leads. Others from all works of life came in their numbers to honour her.
It was indeed a very successful outing for her on both days which was a testament of not only her amiable nature but also her dedication and servitude to ondo state and the APC in ondo.
