ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED HEADS OF SERVICE AND PERMANENT SECRETARIES FELICITATES AIYEDATIWA OVER SUPREME COURT VICTORY
Members of the Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ondo State have hailed the victory recorded recently by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the Supreme Court.
It would be recalled that the Supreme Court had dismissed the appeal filed by the PDP Governorship Candidate in the November 2024 Election , Hon.Agboola Ajayi, after he withdrew the case .
In a statement signed by the State President of the Association, Mrs Mojisola Ajayi , on behalf of other members, she described the victory as a plus for democracy and recognition of the rule of law.
The retired technocrats stressed that the outcome of the electoral matter signifies the confirmation of the overwhelming victory by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the All Progressives Congress at the governorship polls.
According to them, with the final end to the legal tussle, the governor would now be able to focus more on governance and the provision of more dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State as against any unnecessary distractions arising from the legal tussle.
They urged public servants and the entire people of the state to continue to support the governor to enable him to deliver on his promises.
While congratulating the governor for a well – deserved victory , they prayed for God’s guidance, good health, and sound mind for an enhanced service delivery .
