The Secretary to Akure South Local Government, Hon. Adeola Fynch, has joined millions of Nigerians in commemorating the nation’s Independence Day, calling for renewed commitment to unity and nation-building.
In her goodwill message, Hon. Adeola emphasized that the true essence of freedom is not only in the historical attainment of independence but also in the collective responsibility of citizens to work together for progress.
“As we celebrate our great nation’s Independence, let us be reminded that true freedom lies in our unity, resilience, and collective responsibility to build a better Nigeria,” she said.
She further reaffirmed the commitment of Akure South Local Government to promoting development at the grassroots, while urging residents to uphold values of peace, patriotism, and service.
Hon. Adeola expressed optimism that with sustained resilience and shared responsibility, Nigeria will achieve more greatness.
