Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the payments of the 2025 Leave Bonus to Ondo State workers, arrears of pension and hazard allowance to health workers in the state.
This followed a crucial meeting between the state government’s top officials and the State Leadership of the NLC and JNC led by the State Chairmen of the organized labour unions, Comrade Ademola Olapade and Comrade Segun Ajiboye respectively.
SUNSHINETRUTH News gathered that state workers have started receiving alerts for the leave bonus allowance for the governor’s approval.
However, some workers who had received payment of leave bonus alerts, complained of short payments while others were overpaid due to payment platform technical glitches.
The NLC and JNC had earlier threatened to embarked on industrial action over the delay in the payment of the workers allowances.
