2027: APC Senatorial Aspirant, Afolabi Momoh begins consultations in Ondo North

….Meets Ikare Akoko Chiefs, Politicians.

Ahead of the 2027 general election, the Senatorial Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in ONDO North Senatorial district, Hon Mogaji Afolabi Momoh, has commenced his consultations and engagements of key stakeholders in the area.

The step is part of his efforts to enable him clinch the ticket of the APC and win the general election.

Afolabi Momoh who is an indigene of Ikare Akoko, kicked off his consultations with a meeting he held with community Leaders; Chiefs of the Olukare and member of Owalukare family as well as Egbe Gbobaniyi where he notified them of his ambition.

Momoh also paid a similar visit to the Chiefs of the Owa-Ale where he assured of his intention to bring genuine and quality representation to the people of Ondo North Senatorial district if elected.

The Senatorial Hopeful also hosted some politicians from Akoko Northwest to solidarise with him.

The Aspirant explained that his decision to run for Senate was driven by the need to end the hardship faced by people in Ondo North, lamenting that the area had been neglected for too long.

“People are really suffering in the Ondo North Senatorial District. No employment, nothing like life-changing initiatives and programmes for the constituents. We can’t continue this way,” he added.

During the consultations, the Ikare chiefs and community leaders prayed for his success.

The consultations and engagements by Afolabi Momoh are going to be a continuous one across the six local government areas.
