UNIMEDTH Congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa on Akure Complex Handover as FUTA Teaching Hospital
The staff and management of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH), led by Dr. Michael Olumide Gbala, congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the handover of the Akure Complex of the Teaching Hospital to the Federal Government, which will now serve as the Federal University of Technology Akure Teaching Hospital.
This milestone is a significant step in line with the delivery of Efficient Healthcare and Socio-Economic Welfare under the OUR EASE Agenda of Ondo State. The agenda seeks, among other objectives, to prioritize the improvement of healthcare services and the implementation of social welfare programs to ensure the well-being of all residents in the state. We also express our sincere appreciation to His Excellency, the Governor, for his continued support to UNIMED Teaching Hospital.
We further congratulate and wish the management of the Federal University of Technology Akure Teaching Hospital, led by Professor Olusegun Ojo, great success. We reiterate that both institutions will continue to collaborate to promote shared values and enhance the capacity of healthcare delivery, training, and research in our dear state.
