
AKUNGBA ACCIDENT: SENATOR OLAJIDE IPINSAGBA PAYS CONDOLENCES VISIT
Senator Olajide Ipinsagba representing Ondo North Senatorial District has expressed his condolences to the Alale of Akungba, Oba Isiaka Oseni, and the entire community following a tragic truck accident that claimed several lives in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State.
In his statement, Senator Ipinsagba described the incident as “quite unfortunate” and prayed that God would prevent such occurrences in Akungba, Akoko, and Ondo State as a whole.
He commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for initiating the dualization of the Akungba-Ikare road, which he believes is a long-term solution to the recurring road hazards. The Senator also urged residents to remain resilient in the face of the tragedy and that relevant authorities are taking swift action to prevent future occurrences.
Governor Aiyedatiwa has also visited the accident scene and condoled with the families of the victims, assuring them that the government shares their grief and is working to restore normalcy in the community. I believe in his capacity and his willingness to always make Ondo State better for us, Senator Ipinsagba said.
