The Lucky Guy Youth Movement (TLG) has officially launched the “Ondo for Tinubu” campaign in support of the re-election bid of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State.
At the campaign’s strategic meeting, the Director General of TLG, Hon. Suleiman Murtala (popularly known as Young Alhaji), alongside the Convener, Hon. Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, formally announced the activation of TLG’s full operational structures across all 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State. This marks a major step in the group’s commitment to ensuring President Tinubu’s overwhelming victory at the forthcoming polls.
As part of the renewed strategy, the TLG Women’s Wing has been fully integrated into the core structure of the organization to complement the ongoing efforts of the group. This integration is designed to deepen grassroots mobilization, enhance inclusiveness, and strengthen the participation of women and youth in the reelection campaign.
In his goodwill message, the Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ololade Gbegudu, commended TLG for its dynamic approach, innovative campaign strategies, and unwavering dedication to the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He noted that the group’s commitment and creative mobilization methods would play a vital role in ensuring victory for all APC candidates across every level of election.
The meeting followed the directive of his excellency Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts across the 203 wards and 3,933 polling units in Ondo State. The overarching objective is to deliver a landslide victory for President Tinubu replicating and surpassing TLG’s outstanding performance in the last gubernatorial election.
According to the leadership of the group, campaign materials have already been distributed to all TLG Local Government Coordinators and Secretaries to kick start ward level engagements. In addition, the State Executive Body of TLG will soon embark on a statewide visitation tour to strengthen coordination, supervise ongoing activities, and ensure the seamless execution of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu for a greater, more prosperous Nigeria.
The Legal Adviser of the group, Barr. Alex Sowore (who also serves as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Strategic Communication), read out the official resolutions reached during the meeting.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Smart Omodunbi, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, reaffirmed the Governor’s unwavering support for the TLG Youth movement, assuring all members that the administration remains firmly behind their efforts and will continue to provide the necessary backing whenever needed.
With renewed energy, unity, and purpose, the TLG movement stands poised to drive the “Ondo for Tinubu” campaign to resounding success anchored on the shared vision of progress, prosperity, and continuity of good governance.
