SSANU-AAUA re-elected Comrade A. Olutayo Ogungbeni as Branch Chairman for another term
The Congress of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko Branch at their Branch Quadrennial Congress held on Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 unanimously returned Comrade Abiodun Olutayo Ogungbeni as the Branch Chairman of the Union for another 4 years.
Ogungbeni who was elected the Branch Secretary on 12th October, 2017 and later elected as Branch Chairman on 18th October, 2021 holds Masters Degree in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Ibadan and another Master degree in Local Government Studies from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
In his speech, the newly elected Branch Chairman promised to do better than his previous term and assured all the members that he would continue to fight for better welfare of the members.
Others elected along with him are: Comrades Olusola Akinola as Vice Chairman, Abimbola O. Akinsete as Branch Secretary, Akinsola Fasola as Treasurer, Idowu Atunbi as Financial Secretary, Sunday Sobowale as Assistant Secretary, Justinah Amoko as Trustee, John Daodu as PRO and Felicia Adedeji as Women’s Coordinator.
