The Lucky Guy (TLG), a pro-Aiyedatiwa political group with the mandate for mobilising statewide, grassroots support for governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has directed her members across the state to begin immediate door-to-door mobilisation for the reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group gave the directive on Friday, through its Director General, Hon. Murtala Babatunde Suleiman, during the TLG meeting held at the APC Secretariat, Bolorunduro, Ondo East, Ondo State.
In his remarks, Murtala said: “It’s high time we all returned to our respective units and wards to begin immediate mobilisation of votes for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
While stressing the preeminence of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s directive for political direction in the state, Murtala added: “The governor and leader of the party in the state, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially announced the name of President Tinubu for re-election come 2027; hence all TLG members are duty-bound to begin immediate propagation of the Asiwaju gospel to all nooks and crannies.”
Hon. Murtala, who represents Akoko South‑East Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, noted also that team work is both critical and essential for the success of the TLG mandate. He therefore encouraged members to work in harmony and unity.
Meanwhile, the TLG executives and members from the constituent wards and units in Ondo East collectively endorsed President Tinubu for re-election and also reaffirmed their support for Governor Lucky as the Leader of the party in the state.
The meeting was attended by the TLG Convener, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, TLG Director General, Hon. Sulaiman Murtala, TLG Secretary, Hon. Sheba Babatunde, leaders and members of the (All Progressive Congress APC) in Ondo East.
