TLG Ondo East Strategizes for Tinubu 2027: Renewed Commitment to Replicating Flawless APC Victory in Ondo State
The TLG Ondo East Local Government has reaffirmed its dedication to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, following a successful monthly stakeholders and members meeting held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the APC Ondo East Party Secretariat, Bolorunduro.
The meeting, marked by youthful energy and the inclusion of new APC Ondo East stakeholders—such as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Seyi Olawunmi, Mr Joseph Bamikole Akinwotu, and other progressive members —highlighted the unwavering support for the “Ondo for Tinubu 2027” grassroots campaign. This visionary initiative is led by His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State.
Distinguished TLG State dignitaries in attendance included Hon. Moyin Ogunwunmiju (Convener, TLG and Honourable Member Representing Ondo West Constituency 1), Hon. Muritala Suleiman (Director General on Mobilization TLG and Honourable Member representing Akoko Southeast Constituency), and Hon. Babatunde Shaba (State Secretary TLG). Their presence underscored the strategic importance of the gathering.
During the proceedings, Hon. Barrister Adesuyi Daramola, TLG Ondo East Local Government Coordinator (ably represented by Hon. Adeyemi Fanokun, Deputy Coordinator, Liaison and Admin), reiterated the group’s steadfast commitment to the APC and Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership. Hon. Suleiman, Director of Mobilization, emphasized that the meeting demonstrated the group’s unwavering support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, while Hon. Shaba called on the youth to show greater agility and commitment to the progressive movement. The TLG Convener, Hon. Ogunwunmiju, reaffirmed that the apex leadership of the TLG forum in Ondo State remains with Governor Aiyedatiwa, positioning the forum as a leading APC support group in the state.
The meeting was attended by TLG Ondo East Deputy Coordinator (LG Engagement), Hon Ayoola Osunmakin, LG Organizing Secretary Hon. (Engr) Otunba Akintayo Abayomi Akinrinmade fondly called Triple A, SA Media and Publicity Office of the Executive Chairman Ondo East, LG Secretary Hon. Mayowa Osunleti, LG DG on Mobilization Hon Fasakin Abiodun, SA on Youth Affairs office of Executive Chairman Ondo East LG, TLG Ondo East LG Executives, Ward Coordinators and members.
The strategic deliberations and renewed pledges of loyalty at this meeting are set to significantly enhance the prospects of repeating the unprecedented 18:0 electoral triumph in Ondo State. By consolidating grassroots mobilization and fostering unity among stakeholders, TLG Ondo East is laying a formidable foundation for the APC to secure a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, reinforcing Ondo State’s pivotal role in the party’s national success.
