Hon. Afolabi Momoh Mogaji, a senatorial aspirant for Ondo North under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated Sheikh Yunus Anola on his selection as Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom.
Mogaji described Sheikh Anola as an Islamic scholar and academic who has positively influenced many people in and beyond Ondo State through his previous role as a lecturer at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, and as Chief Imam of Adabiyyah, Owo.
Mogaji said Sheikh Anola’s appointment is ordained by Almighty Allah and is a blessing for the people of Owo and Ondo State, given his background, knowledge, and experience. He praised Sheikh Anola’s humility and his long standing commitment to promoting peace, compassion, and understanding.
He urged the new Chief Imam to draw on these qualities to advance the Muslim community in Owo and across Ondo State, and prayed that Almighty Allah grant him the wisdom to guide the affairs of the community.
