A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Security expert, Mr. Olufemi Meshe, has applauded the courage of the leaders of the Southwest region in delivering good governance as well as leadership to the people of the region.
In a statement made available to Journalists, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Inter-Atlas Synergy Limited, commended the Southwest governors for their forthrightness in collaborating with other leaders of the region through the DAWN Commission to present government’s scorecard to the people saying “this is a bold step in ensuring transparency, accountability and responsive leadership towards entrenching good governance.
The people, indeed, deserves to be carried along in the scheme of things and the just concluded two-day Citizen-Government engagement in the Southwest is a testimony to the fact that responsive democracy is at work in the region and Nigeria generally.”
Olufemi Meshe who participated in the summit observed that conversations at the event offered needed promise of better times ahead for Nigerians. “While the summit explained, once again, the various reforms of the Tinubu administration to our people, participants were also able to bare their minds on critical areas of partnership for accelerated development of Nigeria and especially the Southwest.” Meshe said.
While commending the Chief Host of the Summit, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for providing enabling environment for the event, Meshe called on Nigerians to continue to support the Tinubu administration.
