APC Chieftain, Hon. OGO Hails Aiyedatiwa’s Transformative Leadership, Says Ondo is Back on the Path of Real Development
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and staunch supporter of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has commended the Governor for his visionary and people-centered leadership, describing the ongoing transformation across Ondo State as a reflection of true progressive governance in action.
Chief Ogundare, an Imoru-born technocrat and philanthropist from Ose Local Government Area, noted that the series of development-oriented decisions taken by the Aiyedatiwa-led administration in the past week alone have clearly demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to human welfare, youth empowerment, and infrastructural renewal.
He particularly lauded the Governor for clearing the 13-months backlog of salary arrears owed workers of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), a feat he described as “a landmark achievement that speaks volumes about empathy and responsible governance.”

According to Ogundare, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s recent strides; including the approval of 101 kilometers of new and rehabilitated road projects across the state, the upgrading of ministry buildings, and the flag-off of the O’DATIWA U-17 Football Competition, underscore a government that is both responsive and reform-driven.
“This is not just governance; it’s restoration in motion,” he said. “From workers’ welfare to youth development, Governor Aiyedatiwa is reviving hope and redefining leadership in Ondo State. The people can now see what focused governance looks like.” He said.
He further applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his Renewed Hope Agenda, which, according to him, has continued to guide state-level progress across Nigeria, especially in APC-led states like Ondo.
Chief Ogundare expressed optimism that under Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Sunshine State will consolidate its gains and become a model of sustainable growth and inclusive development.
He urged the people of Ondo State to remain steadfast in their support for the Aiyedatiwa administration, stressing that the Governor’s track record of decisive action and people-first policies reflects the ideals of progressive politics that the APC stands for.
“The days of stagnation are gone,” Ogundare declared. “What we see today is purposeful leadership, one that listens, acts, and delivers. The Governor deserves our collective support to continue the good work.”
