Bola Solate, Ogun media Queen bags first class in mass comm degree

Ogun event and media Queen, Bolanle Solate, has earned BSc Degree in Mass Communication from Chrisland University in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Bola, as she is fondly called, has just proved that motherhood and entrepreneurship cannot stop a determined woman.

She is known for her hardwok, integrity, discipline and broughtupsty, her path is a powerful reminder that business acumen is not a barrier and motherhood is definitely not a limitation in achieving First Class Honours even at over forty.

Beyond academics, she is the founder of M19 IMAGE LIMITED a brand that manages PUBLICFACES Magazine, PUBLICFACES TV, 360 Booth, M19 Events and Academy , Choplife Oguro, Choplife villa and Restaurants, Choplife Car awash and more .
She gracefully balances life as an Event-pro, Business Guru, Mother, Leader and Student.
She is a household name in Nigeria event industry as the convener of Ogun Events Vendor a hub that connects and empowers event entrepreneurs in the gateway state.

She started journalism at a tender age of 23 as the publisher of PublicFaces Magazine, she was named the youngest female publisher by the Guild of Magazine Publisher
Abuja, she studied mass communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with OND and HND consecutively. Bola added to her feather a BSc in Mass Communication after exactly 10 years of graduating with HND.

When describing her journey Bola Solate said “lt looked like a waste of time and energy at first considering the stress of attending lectures, assignments, tests, projects and examinations, all these were done in the space of two years of handling high profile events , child bearing and nursing, truly I barely survived “.

Since Chrisland University places high standard on all the academic requirements, this has made it difficult to handle the voyage with leniency, the lecturers are strict and ready to impact knowledge, I thank God for the journey; looking back and seeing all the effort yielded to first class honours.

“It’s first worth the while, learning is continuous process definitely I am not stopping here”, she noted.

She confirmed her intention of pursuing her Masters and PhD. Congratulations to the fresh graduate with honors in town!
