Hon. Ajobiewe David, Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State, has praised the outstanding performance of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, noting that the Governor’s numerous developmental projects across the state have restored massive confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Hon. Ajobiewe, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s impactful leadership; seen in infrastructural upgrades, social empowerment programmes, and the stabilisation of governance has rekindled trust in the party at the grassroots.
He emphasized that the Governor’s steady delivery of people-oriented projects is a strong foundation that will translate into overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Speaking further, Hon. Ajobiewe condemned the alleged plot to impeach the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji.
He described such moves as politically insensitive and dangerous at a time when the state requires unity and collective focus under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
“This is not the time for division,” he stated firmly. “We must all unite behind our leader, the Governor. His development strides are clear and commendable. Instead of attempting to create confusion, we should support his administration and encourage his hard work.”
He urged members of the Ondo State House of Assembly to remain committed to their constitutional mandate, stressing that the people elected them to deliver quality representation, not engage in divisive politics.
Hon. Ajobiewe called on all stakeholders, party members, and the general public to maintain peace and continue supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration as it positions Ondo State for greater progress and ensures resounding victory for APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
