Arc. Ibikunle Ibinuolapo Leads Newly Elected NDYM Ondo State Executive Council
The Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), Ondo State Chapter, has entered a new phase of purposeful leadership following the successful conduct of its elective congress held on 6th December, 2025, in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
With 54 accredited delegates from the three constituencies of Ilaje and Ese-Odo LGAs participating, the congress reaffirmed the unity, discipline, and democratic strength of the movement. Delegates overwhelmingly elected Architect (Arc.) Dennis Ibinuolapo Ibikunle as Chairman and Jire Goodluck as Secretary—signaling a renewed mandate for strategic engagement, youth empowerment, and regional advancement.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Iyang Eneffiong, announced the results, describing the election as transparent, credible, and reflective of the collective will of the youth constituency.
The process was observed by prominent leaders including the Odoka of Obe-Ogbaro and Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), Obafemi Modiademimu Ogbaro, and Hon. Banji Okunomo, former Chairman, Ilaje Local Government. They commended the youths for exhibiting political maturity and reaffirmed the NDYM’s pivotal role in shaping peace, development, and governance conversations across Ondo State and the Niger Delta.
The dignitaries further charged the newly elected executives to uphold the movement’s core values—advocacy, constructive dialogue, and community-focused leadership—while strengthening collaboration with government institutions, local communities, and regional development partners for sustained peace and growth.
