OLABIMTAN DRUMS SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU
…eulogises Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style
The Ondo State Director General and Coordinator for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan has called on well-meaning Nigerians, especially electorate in Ondo State to rally round and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the good work he is doing not only to make life more comfortable for Nigerians but also on his concerted effort to lay solid foundation for a better tomorrow for our youths.
Olabimtan, in a statement he personally signed, also showered encomium on Ondo State governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his leadership style and for finding him worthy to be appointed as the State coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
The statement reads in parts. “The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, RHA, was launched few weeks ago with yours truly appointed as the coordinator and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the chairman of the team for Ondo State. The local government, ward and unit coordinators in Ondo State will also be inaugurated in sequence soon to enhance easy propagation of the good work President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing for Nigerians. The RHA is not for campaign because the embargo on campaign is still in force. Our duty is simply to disseminate truthful information and orientate the populace about where we were, where we are and where we are heading.”
“The RHA is a nationwide initiative aimed at educating Nigerians about the federal government’s reforms and opportunities outlined in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. This outreach program seeks to enhance public awareness regarding ongoing government interventions, ensuring that all Nigerians are well-informed about the opportunities accessible to them.”
“The RHA Project will play a vital role in fostering party outreach and mobilization, establishing strong connections with All Progressives Congress (APC) structures across the country; from national leadership to state chapters, and down to local government officials and ward representatives. This network aims to strengthen party unity, maintain consistent messaging, and assist elected officials in effectively engaging with their communities by providing reliable information about federal government programs.”
“In addition to its outreach framework, the Project will spearhead public enlightenment and citizen-focused communications. Ambassadors will host town-hall meetings, roadshows, market engagements, faith community visits, stakeholder forums, and neighborhood dialogues, translating Federal Government initiatives into relatable and practical information for citizens.
“The outreach will be transparent, collaborative, and impactful, ensuring that no community or group is left behind in this nationwide sensitization effort. These activities will combat misinformation, promote understanding, and enhance civic participation on a broad magnitude.”
“By balancing operational activation with clear communication, the Project serves as a functional governance interface that facilitates two-way dialogue: delivering accurate information from the government to the grassroots while channeling structured feedback from communities back to the relevant authorities.”
“President Tinubu has so far proved himself as a purposeful leader that is prepared for the job through his renewed hope agenda. The economy was not just in shambles when he took over; it was running on deficit with government at all levels struggling to pay salaries and meet other obligations. All that are now in the past and things are gradually getting better. The renewed hope agenda of the president is already yielding massive and visible results.”
“There have been significant progress in the economy, infrastructure development and youth empowerment. The administration has embarked on massive infrastructure drive, with over 400 ongoing road projects nationwide, including the construction of the Lagos-Calabar superhighways that is also passing through Ondo State. Investors’ confidence in the Nigerian economy is back. The stock market is enjoying an unprecedented boom. The economy is being diversified, with solid minerals playing a pivotal role. The government’s liberal educational loan policy has enrolled over one million students.
Nigerians do not need to wait longer than one week to get a travel passport. The era of long queue at filling stations is gone and cost of living is gradually coming down as evinced by the current price of foodstuffs in the market compare with December last year. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done much to make the job easier for members of RHA because we have lots of laudable policies, programs and projects to showcase.”
“President Tinubu’s giant strides at the federal level resonates with the deliberate efforts of His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa to transform Ondo State from a civil service economy to an industrial hub. “President Tinubu scored the highest percentage of votes in the presidential election of 2023 in Ondo State with 67.14%. Governor Aiyedatiwa implored the RHA to work not only to increase the percentage of votes for President Tinubu to more than 90% but he equally demanded that the total votes should be tripled. As the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State and chairman of RHA, the Governor promised to leave no stone unturned in his support to ensure that Ondo people strengthen their support for the President.”
