Ayodeji DF Oluleye and ÀKÚRÉ MANDATE GROUP WELCOMES GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA TO AKURE AMID POMPS AND PAGEANTRY
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group has warmly welcomed the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to Akure, the state capital, as the city came alive with colours, cultural displays, and an impressive show of unity to receive the Governor.
Led by its Convener, Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye (Ògo Àkúré), the Group described the Governor’s visit as a reaffirmation of Akure’s central role in the political, economic, and cultural life of Ondo State, noting that the enthusiastic reception reflects the people’s deep connection to leadership that prioritises stability, development, and inclusive governance.
Speaking on behalf of the Group, Hon. Oluleye commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his calm leadership style and steady commitment to governance that promotes peace, continuity, and progress across the state.
“Akure remains the heartbeat of Ondo State. The warmth, energy, and unity displayed by our people today reflect their aspirations for sustained development, responsive leadership, and a future that works for all,” Oluleye stated.
He further noted that such visits strengthen the bond between the government and the people, providing opportunities for direct engagement, reassurance, and renewed confidence in the development journey of Ondo State.
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group reiterated its belief in constructive engagement, collaboration, and people-centred leadership as key drivers of development, particularly for Akure North and Akure South, where the aspirations of youths, women, artisans, professionals, and traditional institutions must remain central to governance outcomes.
“Our mandate has always been to promote the glory, unity, and progress of Akure Kingdom. We will continue to support initiatives and engagements that advance development, social cohesion, and economic opportunity for our people,” Oluleye added.
The Group prayed for wisdom, strength, and continued guidance for Governor Aiyedatiwa as he steers the affairs of Ondo State, while encouraging citizens to remain peaceful, united, and committed to collective progress.
