
A Senatorial Aspirant for Ondo North senatorial district and Chieftain of the ruling APC, Chief (Dr) Alex Ajipe has lamented poor representation of the area at the National Assembly, especially as it concern the plights of over 100 communities that on deplorable Owo- Ipele- Idoani-Isua-Akunnu- AKOKO to Kogi road.
In a Christmas & New year festive message, Chief Ajipe said federal roads in the Senatorial district are begging for attention and alleged the Senator from the area, Olajide Ipinsagba of not presenting the condition of the roads to the appropriate authorities at the national level.
The APC Stalwart who contested the party’s primary against Ipinsagba during the 2023 Senatorial election, lamented that socio-economic activities of the communities and the people have collapsed due to poor representation on their plight.
AJIPE SAID, “RE-ECHOING THE SUFFERINGS OF OVER 100 COMMUNITIES IN ONDO NORTH WHOSE LIFELINES HANG ON THE OWO-AKUNU-KOGI HIGHWAY.
“THE LIFELINE HAS LONG BEEN BROKEN DUE TO POOR REPRESENTATION.”
HE REVEALED THAT BUSINESSES ARE SUFFERING WHILE THE PEOPLE ARE PAYING THE PRICE OF YEARS OF WEAK AND INEFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION.
The SENATORIAL ASPIRANT SAID ONDO NORTH MUST SEND A SENATOR WHO WILL NOT HIDE BEHIND EXCUSES BUT USE THE FULL WEIGHT OF THE RED CHAMBER, THE PARTY PLATFORM AND STRATEGIC LOBBYING TO FORCE ACTIONS FROM RELEVANT MDAs
