Environmental Sanitation Exercise Without Restriction of Movement
The Ondo State Government has announced that the December edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise will take place across the state on Saturday, 27th December 2025.
The public is hereby informed that there will be no restriction of human and vehicular movement during the exercise, which will run between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
This exemption is granted in consideration of the Yuletide season, to enable residents and visitors to fully enjoy the festive period.
In a statement signed by the Acting General Manager of the Ondo State Waste Management Authority (OSWMA), Mr. Olajumbu Adekunle, residents are encouraged to utilize the sanitation period to clean their immediate environment. Activities should include the clearing of drainages, desilting of gutters, removal of refuse and debris, and cutting of overgrown weeds within their surroundings.
The Ondo State Government reaffirms its unwavering commitment to maintainingQ a clean, healthy, and disease-free environment for all residents and urges continued cooperation and active participation in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
