ANSWERING THE CALL OF THE PEOPLE: A DECLARATION FOR INCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION
I, Hon. Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare (OGO), hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in 2027, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This decision is not born out of personal ambition, but from the consistent yearnings, consultations, and convictions expressed by our people across wards, communities, and social groups within Owo and Ose. The voices of market women, youths, professionals, artisans, traditional leaders, and party faithful have spoken clearly: the constituency desires inclusive, visible, and responsive representation; one that carries the people along and places their interests at the centre of national discourse.
My aspiration is born out of a deep commitment to purposeful leadership, effective representation, and genuine service to the people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.
I firmly believe that our constituency deserves a representative who understands the grassroots, listens attentively to the people, and translates their needs into impactful legislation, advocacy, and development.
This aspiration is driven by a passion to attract meaningful federal presence, empower our youths and women, strengthen infrastructure and education, and ensure that the voices of Owo/Ose are not only heard but decisively represented at the national level.
Our people deserve more than distant representation; they deserve a servant-legislator who will be present, accessible, and accountable. With the support of our great party, the APC, and the collective strength of our people, I offer myself to serve, guided by integrity, consultation, and action.
Together, we can build a future where Owo/Ose is no longer on the margins, but firmly positioned where it belongs: at the table of progress, development, and national relevance.
