Ondo APC mourns the passing of LCDA chair, Araulene

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost a reliable and forthright progressive and administrator, Chief Magnus Araulene.

Until his death, Araulene was the chairman, Ilaje West Local Development Area. A lawyer by training, the politician played the game without bitterness.

At a meeting in Akure today, the State Secretariat conveyed condolences to the immediate family, political associates, and the Nigerian Bar Association.

State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin, recalled the contributions of the departed politician in the party’s quest to wrestle power from the opposition, adding “he was straightforward and sincerely all through”.

The State Executive Committee also expressed sympathy to the former council chairman of Akure North Local Government area, Hon. Dele Fagoriola, over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Adeola Fagoriola.

The former First Lady of the council joined the saints after a brief illness.

Adetimehin urged the former council boss to take heart, and remain strong for the family. He assured that the party identified with the bereaved families, and would do all that is necessary to lend support at this trying period.
