Impeachment allegations viral video: Aiyedatiwa breaks silence on his Deputy, Adelami

Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has denied and rubbished a viral Video where a cleric prophesized that his Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami will soon face impeachment.

The General Overseer of God Central Ministry in Ekiti State, Prophet Olumuyiwa Akogun, had recently raised concerns over a possible political crisis in Ondo State involving Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olaide Adelami.

In a video currently circulating on social media, the cleric recounted a vision he claimed to have received concerning the state’s leadership.

Speaking during a church programme, Prophet Akogun said he saw what appeared to be a breaking news announcement suggesting that the deputy governor was impeached.

According to him, in the vision, he saw the governor and his deputy standing behind one another with a flag before a sudden storm arose and caused separation between them.

“I saw breaking news. I saw the picture of the deputy governor, and I saw that he was impeached. The Lord told me that a step will be taken, and that step will cause chaos between the governor and the deputy. It shall be a serious problem,” the Cleric declared.

Speaking during the commissioning of newly constructed Ayegunle-Iwaro Oka road on Friday as part of activities lined up for the first anniversary in office, the Governor dismissed the prophet, adding that his deputy has not committed any offence.

“He is a loyal deputy”

Reacting to the viral Video, Governor Aiyedatiwa said the video was a mere distraction, describing Adelami as a loyal deputy and no plan to remove.

Also today, the Governor commissioned Isuada-Iselu road in Owo local government area.
