The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Ondo State Council, heartily congratulates His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, on the occasion of his first year anniversary in office.
The Council commends Your Excellency for your purposeful leadership and visible developmental strides within this short period; particularly your administration’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare system through the construction, upgrading, and revitalization of comprehensive health centres, recruitment of health personnel, empowering the drug and health commodity management agency and expansion of health insurance coverage through ORANGHIS, in other to improve access to affordable and quality healthcare for citizens.
We also acknowledge your government’s infrastructural interventions, including road construction, rehabilitation of projects, and other socio-economic initiatives that have enhanced connectivity, stimulated commerce, and improved the standard of living across the state.
While celebrating these laudable achievements, the Council respectfully appeals for the approval and implementation of the adjustment to CONHESS/CONMESS allowances as approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria, as this will greatly enhance the welfare, motivation, and productivity of healthcare professionals in the state.
