- That all leaders should mobilize from the unit, ward and local government area levels towards the victory of the party in subsequent elections.
- That the State Executive Committee should create level playing grounds for all irrespective of their length of time of membership.
- And that members should subscribe according to their capacities by making human and material contributions for the growth and upliftment of the party.

2023: Mimiko Rallies PDP in Ondo
The Immediate past Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has rallied leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State to work together to be able to oust the APC in the State and help reclaim Nigeria from the underperforming APC-led federal government.
Mimiko was speaking at a stakeholders meeting of the party held at the Secretariat, Alagbaka, Akure on Monday. It was the first of such meeting to be called after the return of the former governor into the party late last year. He charged members to eschew division and sentiments and be focused on building consensus where such is possible and organise free, fair and just primaries should that be the only option available.
“I came back into the PDP so that we can work together to oust the APC and save our country from crashing into the deep. We do this not out of grudge and malice with anybody but as a duty to work towards the defeat of the ruling party at both the State and federal levels to reclaim and rebuild our country,” Mimiko said.
This however will only be possible, he continued, “if the PDP sheds all divisive garbs and works in unity of purpose, conscientiously and commited to the cause of the highly pauperised masses.”
The stakeholders meeting was chaired by Fatai Adams and had leaders from across the 18 Local Government Areas in attendance.
Mr Adams had in his opening remarks said that there exist no acrimony between Dr Mimiko and his erstwhile commissioner for Justice, Mr Eyitayo Jegede SAN who has flown the flag of the party in the last two elections, a position that was reechoed by Mimiko who says the prospects and fortunes of the party is more important than personal glory and division.
The chairman who also announced the apologies of some leaders asked that those present and those who could not attend should all work together for the unity and success of the party.
