Easter: Govt will do more for the State, Adetimehin assures Christians

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, congratulates Christians worldwide as they
celebrate Easter.

Adetimehin urges Christians, particularly in the Sunshine State, to identify love, hope, and sacrifice as key significants of the celebration.

He applauds Christians for their fervent prayers that has helped the country generally in good measure, urging them not to relent.

The APC chieftain acknowledges the uncommon harmony between the ruling party and Christans in Ondo State, saying the success story of APC-led government won’t have been possible without them.

The party assures residents, irrespective of religious affiliation, that the State Government would always pursue policies and programmes that have positive bearings on all, urging them to reciprocate by being supportive of the government.

The charismatic chapter chairman wishes Christans a memorable Easter celebration, praying “the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus be with you all”.

Easter 2022: Let Love Lead, Hon Makinde Admonishes Constituents

Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Abiola Peter Makinde, representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency has sent congratulatory messages to his Christian constituents on the occasion of Easter.

In a message released via his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon Makinde maintained that the only important recipe for continued peace and co-existence is love.

In his words, “To the good people of our federal constituency, to a community of highly spirited, consciously progressive and peace loving people of the Christian Faith, it gives me great pleasure to celebrate this highly significant occasion with you all.

In the history of our great Constituency, you have shown and demonstrated yourselves to be a people of faith, one inspired by love, kindness and tolerance as exemplified by Jesus Christ who we celebrate today.”

Hon Makinde,the Deputy-Chairman, House Committee on Federal Character also said “My representation has ensured that Ondo thrives and develops, all thanks to the enabling support which you have offered to me and my team, your prayers and encouragement has kept our communities on the right path and it’s such a delight to be a part of this wonderful celebration with you all.

Even as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our dear Lord Jesus Christ, I urge us to embrace all what He lived and died for, he came with a message of hope and love for mankind which we must sustain as people of the Christian faith.

Let’s us continue to live with one another irrespective of religious, ethnicity or political differences in love and unity for in doing so, we not only live lives worthy of our calling as Christians but also pave the way for a progressive community.In love and unity we shall triumph and overcome, once again happy celebration.”
