….Says Party’s Flagbearer a role model
The Ondo State Network for Tinubu has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress( APC) on Wednesday in Abuja.
Tinubu polled 1, 271 votes to defeat other contestants to emerge the party’s presidential flagbearer. The group applauded other aspirants who took part in the keenly-contested primary. They are heroes of our democracy.
The Convener of the group, Mr Femi Adekanmbi, and the Director General, Barr. Tolu Babaleye made the congratulation in a statement on Wednesday in Akure, saying that the victory was well deserved.
“The All Progressives Congress ( APC) delegates in all of states of the federation voted in their large numbers to exercise their democratic rights.
” Their decision was expressed in very unambiguous and unmistaken terms.
“Asiwaju worked very hard to achieve this victory. Your victory is a testament of your commitment towards creating a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria, that will surpass even the dreams of our country’s founding fathers,” Adekanmbi said.
He thanked Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu, the entire members of the party in the state led by the chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and the entire delegates for casting their votes for Asiwaju Tinubu.
He also applauded other presidential aspirants who stepped down for Asiwaju Tinubu, adding that posterity would be kind to them for their contributions to sustenance of democracy in the country.
According to him, Nigerian electorate should vote Tinubu to power for positive transformation needed for the country.
He added that Tinubu’s past political experience with his influence would enable him to perform creditably if voted to become Nigeria’s president in the 2023 general election.
Ondo Network for Tinubu also congratulated SWAGA, and other support groups that worked tirelessly for the emergence of the presidential flagbearer of the party in Ondo State and across the country.
He reminded them that the task to ensure Tinubu to win the Presidency had just begun.
“The task to ensure his emergence as Nigeria’s president is a task that we must all work assiduously to achieve,” he said.
