Isinkan monarch installs Journalist, Fatoki as Olu Aladodo, vows to protect kingdom

….As Olu Aladodo Pays Homage after 7 days of Installation

The Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula has assured the people of Isinkan of his determination and commitment to protecting the inheritance of Indigenes.

He spoke on Saturday 6th August, 2022 at his palace in Isinkan in Akure South Local Government area of Ondo State when the new Olu Aladodo, Ayodeji Charles Fatoki came to pay homage after his installation.

The Aladodo traditional head came with his family members and residents of Aladodo Community to express their joy, pledge loyalty and thank Oba Olofin-Adimula for his show of love.

While saying Isinkan is not in dispute with anyone over her land, Iralepo said he would not however open his eyes and allow anyone to encroach into his land under any guise.

“We are not in dispute with anyone. Araromi Aladodo belongs to Isinkan and our forefathers who were the farmers on the land bequeathed same on us.

“Iralepo had installed Community heads in the area from time immemorial and no one can come overnight to rewrite history.

“We have documents in support of our claims.

“The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN had even warned traditional rulers not to overstep their boundaries, so, I’m rest assured that no one will try to act contrary to the Executive Order.”

He charged the new Aladodo to remain calm and go about his lawful activities in the community.

The new Aladodo, Ayodeji Charles Fatoki who was elated with the new feat commended Iralepo’s avowed commitment to the protection inheritance of the people of Isinkan.

He promised to foster unity amongst residents of the community and facilitate development to the area.

The people of Aladodo, through the family head High Chief Julius Fatoki Tifase, the Asuda of Isinkan, as required by Customary law, presented Mr. Ayodeji Charles Fatoki to the Iralepo who, after necessary traditional considerations, approved his appointment as the Olu of Aladodo which rites commenced on the 31st of July and ended with his installation on the 2nd of August 2022.

The new Aladodo is also the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ondo State Ministry of Information chapel and the PRO of the State Senior Staff Club.
