The Chief Executive officer of Gorf International Services Ltd, Gabriel Folagbade has been showered with enormous praises as he marked his birthday anniversary on Sunday.
Folagbade, a former Chairmanship candidate of the Mega Party in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State used the occasion to address youth participation in politics.
He urged youths to take charge of their future and ensure they do not get it wrong in 2023.
In his remarks, the celebrant noted, ” I want to state categorically that I am not happy with youth inactiveness in politics. Their consciousness should be awakened at this very important period in our nation, Nigeria.
“They should tow the path the likes of Awolowo, Azikiwe and others followed to win independence for the country. Nigeria needs them now than ever.
“I congratulate them in advance as they mark the International Youth Day on August 12. I hope they take charge soon.”
Folagbade while urging the Ondo state Youths to scrutinise whoever they will be voting in 2023 also commended the efforts of the Ondo State government in combating the menace of insecurity through the Western Security Network (Amotekun)
Many important personalities graced the event alongside some support groups like Victory Assured Team (VAT); Voluntary Group Organisation (VGO); Akoko Political Movement (APM); Bola Ahmed Tinubu Intellectual Coalition (BATIC); religious bodies and other members of the progressive family.
