We’ve developed new Database for Land Use Charge —ODIRS

…calls for continued staff support

As part of its efforts to serve the interest of the people effectively, the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) has developed a new Database for Land Use Change that will accommodate more detailed information of all properties and property owners in the state.

The Executive Chairman of the agency, Mr Tolu Adegbie disclosed this during the September edition of its monthly prayer meeting which held at the office headquarters, Revenue House in Akure.

According to the ODIRS boss, the new database will enhance smooth operations of Land Use Charge and improve upon its transactions.

This, he noted would consequently promote viable relationship with the tax payers and endear them to perform their civic responsibility without any hitch.

While welcoming members of staff into the new month, Adegbie appreciated God for shielding members through the course of the months and also encouraged them not to relent in discharging their duties.
and seek for their individual support towards achieving greater success on Land Use Charge operations.

He pointed out that the new database was developed internally by the ICT staff of ODIRS and hence encouraged every members of staff to cooperate with the ICT and Land Use Charge departments in order to achieve great success on the developed system.

He equally tasked members of staff to intensify efforts in their various areas of responsibility towards improving IGR in the State for the benefit of the citizenry.

In his exhortation, the Chaplain to the Agency, Barrister Gregory Afuwape admonished the staff on the topic “A New Name” , while the ODIRS Choir gave a beautiful rendition titled “My Tomorrow must be Greater than Today” led by the Director, Personal Income Tax, Mr. Segun Enikuomehin who is also the Director of Music for the Choir.  

Highlights of the monthly prayer meeting include the birthday celebration of members of staff whose birthday is in the month of September.
