Ilaje stakeholders step up Campaign for Olusola Oke

Ondo Guber: Oke Is The Best – APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oyebo Aladetan, has said Chief Olusola Oke is the best among all the contenders for the seat of the state governor.

Oyebo made the statement in Akure at a stakeholders meeting of the Olusola Oke Support Group, Ondo East local government chapter.

He said managing a state like Ondo requires a man who knows the state, its people and potentials.

The lawmaker noted that Oke remains the best choice if the party desires inclusiveness and organisation and if the state desires all round growth.

He said: “I have worked with three governors that have ruled this state. I worked with Dr Olusegun Agagu of blessed memory. I worked with Dr Olusegun Mimiko and Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. I can tell from my experience that of all the gubernatorial aspirants, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, is still the best.

“As a leader in his local government area, he produced almost all of us that are today political gladiators in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state.

“He has been a great community leader with unequalled impact among his people. He has always been around and with his people across the state.

“If we need a governor that will manage the party, govern the state according to our reality, if we want a leader that is tested, experienced and armed with required sagacity, courage that the office of the governor required, Oke is the best for us.

“We know him, he knows us and what we are capable of doing. We must not make the mistake of falling prey to the bogus promises of the moment.”
