Lagos State Police Command has arrested a popular Yoruba nollywood actor james Olarenwaju aka Baba Ijesha, for defiling a minor
In a release signed by the police public relation officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, The case of defilement was reported at Sabo Police Station and transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos for proper investigation
It states that preliminary findings reveals that the suspect started assaulting the victim, since she was 7 years old.
The suspect according to the release is now fourteen years old.
The suspect however confessed to the crime and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant.
The Commissioner of Police,Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered for proper investigation as he promised to do justice in the matter.
30YR-OLD TEACHER ARRESTED FOR SODOMISING
A thirty year old teacher, Ebenezer Olawuyi , has been arrested in Ibadan for sodomising two of his students.
Mr Ebenezer was paraded with some other criminals at the police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.
he admitted that he had sexual intercourse with the boys whose ages were 12 and 14 through their anus
According to him, he lured the last boy into the act when he invited him to his house to help him arrange exam scripts.
He added that the first boy he sodomised was a student in a private school, where he taught before moving to another school.
The Oyo state commissioner of police, Mrs Ngozi Onadeko urged parents to monitor their who they keep their children with.
