The Senator representing Ondo Central in the Upper Legislative Chamber, Senator Ayo Akinyelure has sent words of encouragement to members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) particularly in Ondo State as regards last Tuesday’s judgement of the the October 10, 2021 Ondo Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
Speaking with journalists in his office in Abuja on the judgement, Akinyelure said, “this is not the end of the matter, even with what the judges had read, I still believe there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

The Ranking Senator who is also who is also the Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, opined “members of our party should be hopeful because I have the assurances that Barrister Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) will still carry the day at the Appeal Court.”
Describing Eyitayo Jegede as God-sent to rescue Ondo State from its present predicament of non-payment of salaries to its workforce and pensioners, insecurity in the State, among others, Akinyelure said the State will move to greater heights when Eyitayo Jegede and the PDP eventually assume duty.
