A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo state, Prince Biyi Poroye has shared food items to some less privileged and physically challenged in Akure, the Ondo state capital to mark his birthday, this year.
Prince Poroye who is an aide to governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu while sharing the food items to the people who were mainly beggers at old garage area of the capital city said the gesture was to identify with the poor on his birthday as celebration should not be limited to parties only.
He explained that it was also to bring succour to this set of people who could hardly afford two square meal in a day as a result of the economic hardship in the country.
The philantropist who was of the opinion that the poor in the society should not be looked down upon encouraged people to always reach out to them to restore their hope and give them a sense of belonging.
Prince Poroye who hails from Mahintedo community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State also called on Wealthy Nigerians to assist the less privileged in the society to enable them achieve their dreams in life.
