In celebration of the First Coronation Anniversary of the Alayede of Ayede-Ogbese, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Ajibola Olayeye Oluyede, Ise Oluwa II, arrangements have been concluded to kick off various programmes to mark the celebration, kicking off at 12.00pm on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Royal Ranch in the ancient town of Ayede Ogbese in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
A year ago, in an unforgettable, magnificent ceremony with eminent personalities from far and wide, the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, personally presented the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office to Oba Oluyede on 18th December 2021, a deed described by the Governor as ‘honouring a long-term friend’.
The anniversary musical concert has as theme: A Meeting with the KING of kings. It will be the second of the OBA Awon Oba Annual Commemorative Events.
The concert will feature various eminent ministers of the gospel globally; a 120-member mass choir and instrumentalists of the award-winning De Emeralds Choir, the Ondo State National Cultural Troupe et al.
Ayede Ogbese sons and daughters will be joyously celebrating their revered, 21st Century transformational monarch and his beautiful, illustrious Olori with specially invited dignitaries within and outside Nigeria, on this August occasion.
