NDDC Appointment: Ondo Monarch, Olupele congratulates Ogunmola

A First Class Monarch in Ondo State and the Olupele of Ipele in Owo Local Government Area of the State, Oba Victor Olusegun Aganun (Iredokun 1), has applauded the appointment of one of the prominent sons of the community, Mr. Charles Ogunmola, as the the Executive Director (Projects) on the board ot Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

In a Congratulatory letter to Ogunmola, dated 21st December, 2022 and made available to newsmen in Akure on Tuesday, the monarch applauded President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly for Ogunmola’s nomination and confirmation as the NDDC EDP despite plethora of objections to frustrate the credible appointment.

Some groups and individuals including the Three Senator from Ondo State had kicked against the nomination of Ogunmola, claiming that he is not an indigene of oil-rich Ilaje area of the state, but the Senate and the Presidency insisted that the NDDC Act was not breached in the decision.

Oba Aganun said, “On behalf of myself my family and the good people of Ipele heartily congratulate you (Mr. Charles Ogunmola), on your well deserved appointment as the Executive Director (Projects) on the board ot Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

“It is with utmost joy that I received the news of your appointment and confirmation by the Nigerian Senate despite plethora of objections from those that were out to frustrate the good work of God.

“I am indeed grateful to Almighty God who saw you through the screening exerctse at the House of Senate. National Assembly Abuja. My prayer to God is to guide protect and give you the Wisdom to discharge the responsibilities and duties of your new office.

“Please accept your appointment am a divine call to serve the Niger Delta region ot Nigeria and the entire country as a whole. While congratulating you again, please accept the assurances of my royal esteem,” the Olupele said.
