2023: Forget religious profiling, Tinubu will turnaround Nigeria’s economy —Engr Bally tells Christians

2023: Let Us Look Beyond Religious Profiling – Ondo APC Chieftain, Engr. Bally Charges Christians

The Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for Ondo Central senatorial district, Engr. Ayotunde Bally has charged Ondo state Christians in politics on the need to shun religious profiling in the forthcoming general elections, especially the Presidential election in which the ruling progressive party fielded the faith ticket.

Engr. Bally in his campaign for Tinubu/Shettima ticket met with the Christians in politics in Akure today, where he abstracted the numerous achievements of the presidential hopeful of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was the Governor of Lagos State, which are conspicuous and moved the Center Of Excellence state to the fastest growing economy in Africa, and his running mate, Senator Kashem Shettima, who also the former Governor of Borno state.

“It is high time in our political system to look beyond ecclesiastical sentiment, and start looking for someone with capacity, competent, track records, proficiency, antecedent and vision to assemble the best brains to reshape the strategy of governance of Nigeria, in which our candidate with all intents and purposes have all these qualities to restore the country on track.”

“As Christians, we need to change our mindset towards the electioneering process in Nigeria, by showing more involvement and commitment in the electoral participation through coming out to vote on Election Day because we have the number to make the desirable changes we are clamouring for.”

“It is incontrovertible that among the 18 presidential candidates vying for the office of the President in this coming election, only the APC candidate, who is the most preferred candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the only one with track records of outstanding achievements going by his antecedent as the former Governor of Lagos, exceptional and most qualified to become the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

“Today, we cannot be talking about modern Lagos economy and infrastructural development without referring to Asiwaju, for his enormous contributions in the actualization of modern Lagos, of rapidly growing human capital development for enabling business and safe environment for both local and foreign investors, this is the kind of man we need to build Nigeria of our dreams.” – Engr. Bally said

Engr. Ayotunde Bally later harped on the need for them to see Christians and Muslims as one, and not to allow themselves to be hoodwinked by the opposition, who are going around with propaganda that Asiwaju is battling with chronic health challenges and old age which will dissuade him from performing effectively well in office if elected, knowing full well that running the affairs of a nation like ours requires someone with the ability to gather competent brains to run the system, the same way he governed Lagos with outstanding technocrats side with politicians of impeccable service and characters that delivered the dividend of democracy.

“Let’s push aside religious bigotry, and vote for Asiwaju who has all that it takes to revolutionise Nigeria far beyond what Lagos is today. The 2023 presidential election is a crucial moment for us to build Nigeria as the fastest-growing economy in the African continent.”
