Ondo NAWOJ: Tola takes over from Doris, Association hails ex-Chairperson

ONDO NAWOJ GETS ACTING CHAIRPERSON

Following the redeployment of the Ondo State chairperson of the Nigeria Association Of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Mrs Doris Olumoko to Ogun State, she has since stepped aside in the affairs of the Association while her Vice, Mrs Tola Gbadamosi of The Hope Newspaper is now the Acting Chairperson of the association.

The Association appreciates Mrs Olumoko for her selflessness, Intelligence and Doggedness in ensuring that NAWOJ in Ondo State stood firmly in promoting welfare of Women, Widows and the girl Child.

Ondo NAWOJ also commends Mrs Olumoko for a purposeful and eventful leadership offered the association and prays God to grant her the wisdom and strength to accomplish greater tasks in her new station.

Ondo NAWOJ Enjoins members to continue to support the Association under the new leader, Mrs Gbadamosi and her executives in a bid to take the association to a greater height.

The process of conducting a bye-election to fill two vacant positions in the Association will be announced soonest in line with the directive of the Association’s National Secretariat.
