All Tinubu support groups in Ondo must consolidate for benefits —Dr Victor Oritedi

The entire Support groups for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ondo State have been urged to consolidate themselves so that they can reap the fruits of their labour.

The Head of the Coalition of Support Groups in Ondo state, who is also a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Ambassador Dr Victor Ayodeji Oritedi advised at a meeting held with the groups at the weekend in Akure.

Oritedi said consolidation of the support groups will reveal their strength and capacity as the group that single-handedly delivered Ondo State to Asiwaju during the Presidential Election.

According to him, the mandate of all the groups was to deliver Asiwaju which has been achieved but there is a need to utilize the gain by consolidating it.

“We love him that is why we delivered him which is a way to penetrate and we are now in discussion with the leadership of the party hoping that something will come out of it as a reward for the support groups”, he said.

While appreciating the groups for their unrelenting efforts towards ensuring that Tinubu was elected president of the country, Oritedi assured that every group member will be rewarded accordingly in due time. In the meantime, he urge the support groups to celebrate the victory achieved so far.

While remembering people of Tinubu’s promise to introduce a credit economy in Nigeria, he noted that he accepted the work of the support groups out of the passion to ensure that members are not neglected in the scheme of things.

Oritedi, an Eminent Ambassador of peace for the United Nations, an economic consultant and a Doctor in Commerce who hailed from Igbara-Oke, in the Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, said the people will begin to benefit from the administration of the new president as soon as he is sworn in.

Earlier, the Secretary, Mr Sanni Hameed and the Alaja of Okegbe Ikare kingdom, High Chief Adebisi Abraham appreciated the groups for delivering the highest percentage of vote in the country for Tinubu which they said was the purpose of the meeting to thank and appreciate them and to seek a way forward.
