“We as Kings in our Kingdoms, we had orientated our people that anyone can get sick, we all have one challenge or the other in our body, it is bad for someone to sick and people are making jest of him, it’s a bad Idea for people speaking on the Governor health issues like that, we had told our followers to stop the habit, the sickness should not be the talk of the Town.”

During the prayers

Also speaking, the Olupe of Ipe- Akoko, Oba (Evangelist) Francis Apata expressed hope that governor Akeredolu would return to the state safe and sound.

Oba Apata urged political office holders left behind by governor Akeredolu to discharge their duties in good conscience and fear of God so that the vacuum created by the governor’s absence would not be felt.

“Today is our Statutory meeting day, we had decided to pray for our Governor for Quick recovery, so that he can recover from the sickness, several bodies have been praying for his quick recovery, the council of the Obas in Ondo State has also pray for his recovery.
