A female politician in Ondo State, Hon Olamide Falana has described the ministerial list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as appropriate, says it has a good mix of youth who are high fliers in their various fields and women of great experience and capacity who have distinguished themselves in various capacities.
In a Press Statement made available to newsmen in Akure, Falana felicitated member of the House of Reps, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, BTO, who is the ministerial nominee from Ondo State, expressing confidence that he will do better on the national assignment at the Federal Executive Council, even more than his current quality representation at the National Assembly
She said “though women make up about 20% of ministerial nominees, youth nominees are cross cutting at another 20% showing Mr President actually listened to yearnings of the women and youth as he promised.
“I also express hope that more women will be appointed as Special advisers and Special Assistants to Mr President. I wish all nominees great success in the season of Renewed Hope,” Falana said.
